Important Security Message
Due to the ongoing negative news about Internet safety and browser security flaws, Central Bank would like to take this opportunity to remind our customers about the significant importance of having current Anti-Virus/Internet Security software and Microsoft critical security patches for Windows Operating Systems. Anti-Virus/Internet Security updates should be set to download and install at least daily and you should schedule a complete system scan of all files at least weekly. If you're using Windows, you should also automatically download and install all critical Microsoft security patches as soon as they are available. In today's connected world, it is extremely important to be proactive when it comes to computer security. Although the headlines paint a grim picture of the Internet landscape, these simple actions will help to prevent damage to your computer or loss of your confidential information when using the Internet.
Shazam Risk Assessment, Detection and Response: If suspicious transactions are detected on your debit card, a SHAZAM fraud specialist may attempt to contact you by telephone to verify the authenticity of the suspicious ATM/Debit transaction. If you are planning to travel, please contact the Central Bank Debit Card Department at 309-944-5601 to verify your contact information prior to traveling. This will assist us in protecting your accounts from fraudulent activity and identity theft.
