Promotion: Harvest Photo Contest
Effective Date(s): September 21 – October 9, 2026
Rules: NO PURCHASE OR ACCOUNT OPENING IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THE DRAWING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THESE OFFICIAL RULES, WHICH ARE A CONTRACT, CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING THIS DRAWING. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE DRAWING, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND REPRESENT THAT YOU SATISFY ALL OF THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS BELOW.
WINNERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO RESPOND TO WINNER NOTIFICATION ATTEMPTS WITHIN THREE (3) BUSINESS DAYS OR OTHER TIMEFRAMES STATED HEREIN WINNER OR PRIZE MAY BE FORFEITED.
SUMMARY AND ENTRY: “Harvest Photo Contest” (“Photo Contest”) will take place on the following dates September 21 – October 9, 2026. All entries are valid throughout the contest period, running from 8:00 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) on September 21, 2026 until 4:00 p.m. CT on October 9, 2026 (“Submission Period”). By participating in the Photo Contest, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules (the “Official Rules”), and the decisions of Central Bank Illinois and its subsidiaries (“Central Bank”), including the interpretation of these Official Rules, which will be final and binding in all respects.
ELIGIBILITY AND LIMITATIONS: Participants and winner(s) must be U.S. residents at least 18-years old or as determined by Central Bank Illinois. Only one (1) prize awarded per household. Employees of Central Bank Illinois, or its subsidiaries, and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate. The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents, and children.
HOW TO ENTER: During the Entry Period, participants may enter the Photo Contest through one of the following methods:
- Entry Method 1: Submit a photo entry via email to [email protected].
- Entry Method 2: Submit a photo entry via Facebook messenger to the Central Bank Illinois Facebook Account.
Photo Requirements
Photos must:
- Be original work created by the entrant.
- Depict harvest, agriculture, fall scenery, or seasonal community activities.
- Be family-friendly and appropriate for all audiences.
- Not contain offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content.
- Not include copyrighted material, logos, watermarks, or professional branding.
- Not infringe upon the rights of any other individual or organization.
Central Bank Illinois reserves the right to reject any submission that does not meet these guidelines.
Voting Process
- Approved photo entries will be posted to the Central Bank Illinois Facebook page in an official contest album.
- Voting will occur through Facebook reactions ("likes," "loves," etc.).
- Each reaction on the original contest album photo counts as one vote.
- Votes on shared posts will not be counted.
- The photo receiving the highest number of eligible reactions during the voting period will be declared the winner.
Fair Voting Policy
Central Bank Illinois reserves the right to:
- Remove fraudulent or suspicious votes.
- Disqualify entries that use vote-buying services, fake accounts, automated voting, or other unfair methods.
- Make final determinations regarding vote eligibility and contest outcomes.
Photo Usage Rights
By entering the contest, participants grant Central Bank Illinois a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual right to use submitted photos for marketing, advertising, social media, website content, publications, and promotional materials without additional compensation. Photographers retain ownership of their images.
Liability Release
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Central Bank Illinois from any liability arising from participation in the contest or acceptance of any prize.
Facebook Disclaimer
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook. Participants are providing their information to Central Bank Illinois and not to Facebook.
Winner Notification
Winners will be contacted using the information provided at entry and announced on Central Bank Illinois' social media channels and website.
Final Authority
Central Bank Illinois reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the contest at any time and reserves the right to make all final decisions regarding contest administration, eligibility, and winner selection.
The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, late, incomplete, stolen, misdirected, illegible, or postage-due entries or mail, all of which will be void. No mechanically reproduced entries are permitted. All entries become the property of the Sponsor, and none will be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission will not be deemed proof of receipt by the Sponsor. Mail-in entries that are mechanically reproduced, copied, illegible, incomplete, misdirected, postage-due, late, or inaccurate are void.
PRIZE: Awarded one per winner. Central Bank Tumbler ($10), Local Motive Coffee ($15), Central Bank Mug ($6), Blanket ($20), Tea Towels ($10), Photo Frame ($12), Basket ($20), Candle ($15).
WINNER NOTIFICATION:
Central Bank Illinois will attempt to notify the winner(s) that he/she/they have won by email or facebook message.
Winner name(s) may be posted on Central Bank Illinois’s website and/or Facebook page at their sole discretion. If any prize, prize notification, or Drawing-related communication is rejected, faulty, or returned as undeliverable, if a potential winner does not respond according to the notification’s or Central Bank Illinois’s instructions, or if a winner or potential winner fails to comply with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited.
RELEASES, TAXES AND MISCELLANEOUS
PRIVACY: By participating, all participants and winner(s) grant Central Bank Illinois exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices, and likenesses in connection with promotion of this and other contests and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration or such use.
RELEASE: By participating in the Photo Contest, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against Central Bank Illinois its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, for any personal injury or loss which may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the Drawing, or from the use of any prize. In order to receive a prize, participants must sign an official waiver form provided by Central Bank Illinois.
TAXES: Any valuation of the prize(s) stated above is based on available information provided to Central Bank Illinois, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes. Each winner must provide Central Bank Illinois, if requested, with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize will be awarded. Prizes are not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize.
DECISIONS: By participating in the Photo Contest, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of Central Bank personnel. Central Bank Illinois reserves the right to disqualify any participant or winner and may refuse to award any prize to a person who is ineligible or has violated any rule, gained unfair advantage in participating in the Photo Contest, or obtained winner status using fraudulent means. Central Bank Illinois will interpret these rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules or the Photo Contest and Central Bank Illinois's decisions concerning such disputes shall be final. If the conduct or outcome of the Photo Contest is affected by human error, any mechanical, technical, electronic, communications, telephone, computer, hardware or software errors, malfunctions or failures of any kind, intentional interference or any event beyond the control of Central Bank Illinois, Central Bank Illinois reserves the right to terminate this Photo Contest, or make such other decisions regarding the outcome Central Bank Illinois deems appropriate. All decisions will be made by Central Bank Illinois and are final. Central Bank Illinois may waive any of these rules in its sole discretion.
MISCELLANEOUS: No purchase necessary to participate or win. Void where prohibited. Odds of winning depend upon the number of participants. Central Bank Illinois may substitute prizes of equivalent value, amend the rules or discontinue the Photo Contest at any time as announced. Central Bank Illinois disclaims any responsibility to notify participants of any aspect related to the conduct of the Photo Contest. All entries become the property of Central Bank Illinois and will not be returned.
COMPLIANCE WITH LAW: The conduct of the Photo Contest is governed by the applicable laws of the United States of America and the State of Illinois, which take precedence over any rule to the contrary herein. Central Bank Illinois shall follow the applicable laws for conducting contests, including notice to the state attorney general or consumer affairs office, posting of a prize bond, furnishing lists of winners, providing specific written information about the Drawing, etc. as required by local and state law.
